What to Expect

A casual and fun workshop/gathering focusing on abstract collage techniques, loosely structured around four blocks of time:

1. Welcome, description of materials and brief demonstration
2. A couple of quick warm-up collages
3. Longer collage(s)
4. Sharing and reflection

What to Bring

We’ll use mostly found papers and images from good quality periodicals. I have an abundance of paper you can choose from; however, feel free to bring whatever abstract images you want to work with.

Basic Supplies

• Heavyweight paper (example: cardstock, bristol board or watercolor pad; 9″ × 12″ is a good size)
• Scissors
• X-Acto knife
• Small cutting mat
• Glue stick or matte medium (with a glue brush for the matte medium)

I have all materials if they’re not available to you.
